The DigiWind DTU Open Call presents an opportunity for students aspiring to pursue a master’s degree in fields related to the digitalisation of wind and energy systems. The call targets applicants for the following DTU MSc programmes:
- MSc in Wind Energy
- MSc in Sustainable Energy Systems
- MSc in Sustainable Energy Technologies
Successful applicants will receive a tuition fee waiver worth €30,000, which covers the full costs of the two-year (120 ECTS) MSc program at DTU. Up to four (4) students are expected to receive this waiver.

Of the selected candidates, 76% are Portuguese. In total, candidates from 46 countries have been put forward for funding, with Brazilian, Italian, Iranian, Chinese and Spanish candidates standing out among the foreign candidates. |

The Call's provisional success rate stands at 16% in relation to the number of applications accepted. Most of the projects are led by female researchers (around 57%). Of the total number of researchers, 13.5% are foreigners, of 17 nationalities, working in research centres based in Portugal, and are responsible for coordinating 54 selected projects. |
|
|

|
Through this program, candidates with affiliations to a total of 63 public administration institutions will benefit from funding, with a predominance of higher education institutions, local government institutions such as city councils, and health and hospital units. |
|
|

|
The three main policy measures being considered for this future Act are: national commitments by member states to reach a 3% target in R&I; improved harmonization of investments; and policies and improved conditions for R&I and researchers in the EU. |
|
