EVENTS

October 19, 2023, online

Horizon Europe uses lump sum funding to reduce administration and financial errors. Lump sums simplify the programme by removing the need to report actual costs. This means more accessible access to the programme, especially for small organisations and newcomers, who often lack the experience and capacity to cope with the complex rules for actual costs.

October 20, 2023, online

The European Commission and CINEA will organise the online event ‘The concept of the associated regions: Funding for associated regions under the Mission Ocean calls’ to present the Mission projects with open calls for associated regions. Mission projects with closed calls for associated regions will also share best practices for reaching local and regional authorities.

October 24, 2023, online

This event will give detailed information about Grant Management in Horizon Europe.

November 8, 2023, online

Net4Society will organize a Pre-proposal Check Event to develop project proposals for the Cluster 2 Calls in 2024. The interested project representatives can apply their ideas for the pre-proposal checks. Experienced evaluators and NCPs will review the selected pre-proposals.

AWARDs & PRIZES

Deadline: November 10, 2023

The 2024 Prizes will reward existing projects and concepts developed by young talents under four categories: reconnecting with nature, regaining a sense of belonging, prioritising the places and people that need it the most, shaping a circular industrial ecosystem, and supporting life cycle thinking.

Research recruitment

Deadline: February 28, 2024, 17:00 Brussels time

MSCA Staff Exchanges promote innovative international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary collaboration in research and innovation through exchanging staff and sharing knowledge and ideas at all stages of the innovation chain. The scheme fosters a shared culture of research and innovation that welcomes and rewards creativity and entrepreneurship and helps turn ideas into innovative products, services or processes. It is open to research, technical, administrative and managerial staff supporting R&I activities.

Deadline: September 11, 2024, 17:00 Brussels time

The goal of MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of PhD researchers who wish to acquire new skills through advanced training in international, inter-sectoral and interdisciplinary mobility.
